Dr. Tanner Thompson

For Dr. Tanner Thompson, dentistry is more than just a profession, it’s a family calling. Inspired by his mother, a pediatric hygienist, and his brother, a general dentist, he saw firsthand the genuine joy that comes from restoring a patient's smile. This early exposure, combined with a lifelong passion for working with his hands, made becoming a dentist his lifelong dream.

A Bartlesville native, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Arizona. While he enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, he has a particular passion for restorative and surgical procedures. He enjoys providing patients with long-term comfort and confidence with treatments such as dental implants, crowns & bridges and full mouth restorations.

With a background in competitive sports, Dr. Thompson carries the lessons of the field into the clinic. He believes the best clinical outcomes are achieved through teamwork, humility and mutual respect. He views his patients as partners in their own health, prioritizing an "open book" communication style.

"I want my patients to know they can trust me and I always have their best interests at heart. My goal is to provide every option available and create an environment where you feel completely comfortable asking questions."

When he isn't in the office, Dr. Thompson is likely spending time with his wife, Madison, and their three children. A true Oklahoman at heart, he is an avid golfer and basketball fan.

Dr. Thompson is dedicated to building lasting relationships that reach beyond the dental chair. He looks forward to meeting patients in the Stillwater community and helping them achieve a healthy, comfortable smile.
